We're changing the format of the Gala dinner a little in 2013 to deliver a great night - and even more great networking!
Food & drinks:
We'll have a delicious constant grazing selection with "tastes of the world" from five different countries. Wine, beer and softdrinks are included all night.
Seating:
We'll have free seating at large tables and a lounge area for those that like to mingle.
Space:
We're also in a new space in the venue - Hall 4 - overlooking across the river with fabulous skyline views.
Dress:
This is a chance to dress up and really make a night of it! You should bring your nametag & lanyard though for smooth entry.
Charity:
PeSA is again supporting the fantastic Reach Foundation, with a charity auction as part of the night. Some fantastic prizes will be on offer.
Dancing:
For those who enjoy a spot of dancing we are happy to confirm special guest artist Jason Delphin. Jason will be playing through the night to provide great atmosphere at a "networking friendly" volume and then "turning it up" from 10pm-11pm for those that enjoy a dance.
Haven't booked yet? If you've already registered for conference but want to add a dinner ticket, you can purchase online here.

Jason’s music style is a contemporary blend of blues/soul/jazz/folk and pop.
Upon completing his honors degree in contemporary music he was unearthed by Triple j gaining high rotation on the prestigious radio station. The unique lyrics and easy-to listen-to melodies were compiled to form his first self-titled album called “Trouble”, which came out in 2012.
Jason plays from Brisbane to Byron Bay at various venues through the week and weekend. He has also traveled internationally to play at private parties/Weddings as well as traveled through Australia supporting such bands as The Violent Femmes, Silverchair, Something for Kate and Josh Pyke. In 2006 Jason signed a record deal with rocking horse/ EMI. 2008 saw Delphin tour for 12 months on the back of his debut release. Not content with that, he built his own studio and label in 2009 within his own home.
Delphin’s set list is well over 400 songs from current pop, top 40 to the classic jazz swing of Sinatra. Whether the event is a wedding, corporate or just plain pub rock venue, Delphin can fit the occasion. His setup is full of gadgets including two loop stations, foot stomps, and percussion making his sound as big as a five-piece band.
Each year we hold a charity auction segment for the Reach Foundation. We only have 10 auctions available and we will make announcements closer to the night of what will be available from our generous sponsors

2012 Video Highlights

The Gala dinner is the networking highlight of the conference - a chance to relax, mingle, learn...and enjoy a well-earned drink and dinner!
This year’s dinner will be held in honor of our 2011 speaker, Jim Stynes. Jim sadly passed away this year after a long battle with cancer. Jim is the founder of the Reach Foundation that PeSA proudly supports.
First you'll have the opportunity to freshen up post conference, joining us back at the Convention Centre at 7pm for drinks and canapes. Then we'll move into the themed room for dinner, dessert and our guest speaker.
A fun and rewarding part of the gala dinner is always the Charity Auction, which is a great chance to nab a "bargain" and help out a worthwhile cause.
We'll wrap up the night by 11pm so you can get some well earned rest and be ready for the final day of the conference!

An essential aspect of any PeSA Summit is the social networking function was at the end of the first day (Thur 21 July in 2011). The 2011 event was a Gala Dinner, sponsored by Australia Post & Channel Advisor. The charity auction raised close to $30,000 for the The Reach Foundation.
Our Dinner featured guest speaker Jim Stynes: The Reach Foundation founder

Here is what a delegate said of Jim’s speech at the 2011 event.
“Jim Stynes - never heard of him before the Dinner (I do not follow football of any sort), BUT shan't ever forget him - you could hear a pin drop in the room when he was speaking. A gentle giant with a big heart, who thinks of others before himself. He deserves every single iota of chance that life can throw at him.”
For the past three years, many sellers have found this Gala Dinner the MOST valuable for the chance to network and build long lasting relationships with other sellers. Plus, most of the exhibitors & speakers also attend the Gala Dinner.
In 2011 year, we hosted a 3 course dinner.

Reach encourages all young people, no matter what their circumstances, to believe they can achieve. Reach has been making a positive impact in the lives of young Australians for nearly two decades.
More on 2010 event...
Monies raised at the charity auction will go to The Alannah and Madeline Foundation, a national charity protecting children from violence and its devastating effects.
The Alannah and Madeline Foundation's Cybersafety and Wellbeing Initiative aims to make cybersafety a normal part of every young person's life by equipping them to use technologies in ways that protect them from the associated risks.
The development of the initiative is informed by a number of cybersafety experts from across Australia. The first major focus of the initiative is to help schools to create a cultural norm of smart, safe and responsible use of communications technologies.
